When director Jensen Chambers hired me to score his whimsical and imaginative short film, he already knew exactly what kind of sound he wanted.

By the time I was brought on board, he had been working on the film for a long while, interrupted by the pandemic and only able to finish photography well after. For the music, he knew he wanted a mix of modern elements combined with the unmistakable sound of some of the classic Disney animated films from the 1940’s and 1950’s. I knew this would be a challenge; the examples he pulled were full of colorful orchestration, interesting harmonies, and classic part-writing.
